History

Relocation Care was founded in 2003 by Annette de Vreede. For over ten years Annette was employed by renowned firms of consultants, such as Deloitte & Touche and Loyens & Loeff, as an advisor on international secondment. With Deloitte & Touche her activities included a continuation of the 'Japanese -' and 'Chinese Desk'.

Her job with Loyens & Loeff focused, in particular, on work in the field of taxes involved in cross-border employment, and the problems surrounding residence permits and work permits and immigration law in general. In the interim period this entrepreneur was responsible for the personnel department in a multinational company for a number of years. Many expats and impats managed to find their feet in the Netherlands thanks to her expertise and commitment.

Over the years multinational companies have started to recognise that there is a strong need for expert supervision of the employment of intercultural staff members in the Netherlands. Expertise in the fiscal and social fields alone is not sufficient. In most cases, sound, practical support by an all-round expert will turn the expatriation of the foreign employee and his family into a success. As it is, the ball started rolling and Relocation Care - Expatriate Services - was founded.
