RELOCATION AND COVID-19 IMPACT
Relocation Care is the perfect partner to support to your company and your assignees when relocating in an environment that is impacted by CoVid-19. Relocation Care has a proven track record with supporting clients in this demanding and complex environment which could change from day to day. Our existing expertise in immigration legislation and procedures has been expanded to include CoVid-19- related travel and immigration impact.
Since the first months of 2020 the CoVid-19 pandemic started to effect day to day life in many countries throughout the world – and also in the Netherlands. The Dutch government’s goal is to control the spreading of the disease and protect specific groups at risk while also trying to limit the number of hospitalizations due to CoVid-19 and to continue regular hospital care as much as possible.
The guidelines from the Dutch government can be found here.
Daily developments on active cases in the Netherlands can be found on the Dutch Corona Dashboard.
Relocation Care has been able to continue to support our clients and their assignees without disruption, even in these challenging times. In an increasingly complex immigration environment – with daily changing guidelines on quarantines, travel restrictions and closed embassies – Relocation Care has been able to add value and guide clients through these complexities, ensuring that companies and assignees have upfront clarity if and how the CoVid-19 crisis would impact their travel and relocation plans.
Relocation Care was able to quickly set up a work-from-home practice without impact for our clients. Relocation Care also has proper back up procedures in place to ensure that even in case of absences due to illness the clients will receive continued services.
As most of our clients have continued to relocate international employees during the pandemic, Relocation Care has a proven track record with supporting clients in this demanding and complex environment which could change from day to day. Relocation Care has been able to expand our existing expertise in immigration legislation and procedures to include CoVid-19- related travel and immigration impact.
Relocation Care has also implemented CoVid-19 proof practices for relocation and settling in support. We always will ensure social distancing, wear mouth covers and adhere to all governmental guidelines. If accompanied visits to local authorities are not allowed, our team will spend time on upfront preparation of the assignee and will be available by phone if any unexpected challenges would occur.
